Rear Axle etc....

Absoloutley mint condition, no rust..

Rear spring and boot floor

Well after getting a new jet wash thingy ma jiggy decided the rust could not get any worse so decided to blast of the the thick dirt with high pressure water..

A small shimmer of hope.

Rear axle removal..

Rear brake plates.
Spit and polish with the angle grinder and wire brush fitment.

Nice weather for a good old polish

Now time for the rear springs, the spring on the drivers side was ever so slightly more compressed than the passenger side so I have decided to swap sides when I put them back in.
At least when I am driving the car will then sit straighjt.

Poly Pushes from eurospeed services..
And a nice clean up and paint of the old springs and rear axle.

Looking good..

Not sure yet if the rear axle will leak or if I have to use eazy sleaves ?
time will tell.

Yes the britts fix their cars in small garages.. ;-)
